A PRACTICE GUIDED BY LOVE, INTENSION, AND ACCEPTANCE
Anjali Mehta, a rising junior at NYU, is a certified 500-hour yoga instructor teaching Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin Yoga. She is also certified in both MBSR and Yoga Therapy. Anjali has been practicing yoga for over ten years and been teaching for close to six years. In the past, she has taught for the Indian Embassy in Singapore, Vyasa Yoga, Singapore American School, and the Institute for Mental Health. Currently, she lives in New York where he teaches weekly classes at NYU. Her classes center around breathwork where she encourages students to find balance and alignment on and off their mats. She also delivered a TEDx talk in 2017 on the “Power of Breath.” Anjali intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in order to investigate the inner workings of the mind. Currently, she is investigating the overlap between cognitive neuropsychology and meditation. With gratitude, she thanks her yoga teachers, students, and parents for guiding her toward the path of Yoga.
